I have the 8830 and the 8703e and I can't seem to remove the mini cassette symbol for voicemail from my screen...On both models!

It's annoying and I've looked through all of Blackberry's literature...NOTHING can be found on it. Please help.

I get tons of voicemail everyday and I never know when I have new voicemail and when I don't.

When you see that icon, it means you have new voicemail you haven't heard yet. Not that you have anything saved. Listen to your voicemails and either save them or delete them. If you skip them, you'll never get rid of the icon.

Just make sire you delete your messages. How do you save them?
