Welcome to CrackBerry! The first place to try to get your unlock code should always be your provider. Try contacting their customer service department and request your unlock code. If you meet their conditions they should give it to you with no problem.

If that doesn't work for you, there are reputable unlocking companies on here (like cellunlock) who can provide you with unlocking services. They can be found in the Unlocking forum here on CrackBerry.

Are you going to be traveling to another country? Unlock will work in that case.

If you wanted to use the phone with another carrier, such as Verizon, that cannot be done. VZW will not allow you to use a Sprint phone on a VZW plan.

im going metro PCS but i dont wanna pay $50 to unlock so so if i call the carrier will they give me the unlock code if i say im going out of the country?

Unlock Codes are imei specific so someone else's unlock code will be useless. if you are going to metropcs and plan to use that 8830WE you need to have it flashed, unlocking won't do you any good.
