Default Help on my husbands 8830

ok, my husband is int he navy and has been doing the relief stuff off the coast of Haiti. well they are now in Cuba working from there but he cant seem to pick up a signal on his phone. everyone else seems to be able to but his wont. i know his phone dont have the wifi on it but he said he can get on the internet on his phone but cant make or recieve calls? anyone have any ideas on what to tell him to check? it would really be nice to be able to talk to him while he is there since its bout the only communication they have right now. thanks in advance for any help.

I would call your carrier. It sounds like an issue with his phone roaming on the local network. Good luck!

Go to "Manage Connections" and make sure "Mobile Network" is checked. That is the "radio".
