hey i just put 4.5.0.77 on my alltel 8830. i have never had mms on this phone but now there is a option for mms. i send a picture and the person never receives it. they try to send me a pic and i never receive it. i get the check mark showing it has been sent.. i pulled the battery twice now and its still not working. any suggestions? maybe i missed something. on by the way sms is still working...

it may not be you it might be the OS, so keep checking your alltel website this issue could be adressed

How long are you waiting? Sometimes it could take awhile for pictures to be received. Depending on the mms, it can take up to 2 hrs I have found.

I think you are right also. You can also send it as an e-mail attachment.

Try resending the service books to the phone if that doesn't correct the issue unfortunately you will have to call alltel

MMS won't work on verizon. Check with your carrier to see if they support MMS on the 8830.

It appears that MMS works on some 8830's. On Verizon, it does not work. It may work on Alltel.
