    I have an 8830 and I plugged in headphones for the first time yesterday. Now the headphone mode is stuck on, and won't turn off even when I remove the jack. Help!!! Thanks in advance from a forum newbie.

    Never mind! I figured out that I could put a hard wire in the jack and it somehow reset. Hope this helps somebody!

    Yeah, cuz that was safe.

    Should have just pulled the battery instead first.
