So I just downloaded Verizon's latest version of VZAccess 6.7.3 to use my Blackberry as a modem for my laptop, and when I rebooted my computer it's telling me the Firewall is off and can't be turned back on. It says "Security Center can't turn on Windows Firewall", and I can't do it manually either. Help! Anyone else having issues? Or answers?
Also, is VZAcess the best thing to use in order to utilize my Blackberry as a modem for my laptop?
I've seen VZAccess break the Windows Firewall settings before. Gota love the software quality there. Sorry this is of no help, but at least you know you're not alone. I would call VZW and complain if I were you. Not having even something as basic as Windows Firewall on is a big no no.
