Using the media player on 8830 for podcasts. How do you fast forward or rewind using this media player?

What media player are you using?

Music --> Now Playing --> BB Button (to the left of the trackball)

This brings up a menu that contains Prev Track - Next Track - Replay - Shuffle etc.

If you are looking to fast forward through just part of a song track, I'm not aware of how to do that.

I was having the same issue with my Bold until I just tried it again just now. I figured that you had to highlight that bar that moves along as the track/podcast plays and move it forward by flicking the trackpad to the right but I couldn't get it to highlight the bar earlier today. I just tried it again though and I got it to work. Maybe it just took some special finesse? But anyway, that's all you have to do. The more/faster you flick it to the right the faster you will fast forward through the podcast.

I believe you can use just scroll after selecting (I think you have to click on it) the media playback position marker. You can use the ALT key to scroll in larger chunks.
