I have an 8830 which has a great deal of background noise when speaking with another party. Anything happening in the background is heard almost as much as my voice. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I thought this phone had a better filter than that, but it is worse than my 7520.

i, for one, have no clue what you are talking about...everything is clear on my phone.

A lot of callers I talk to have complained about the same thing. the stereo will be at a level that I can barely hear and they will hear it pretty well or if the windows are open, the same thing. I think it's better if you use an earpiece though. Besides that....great phone!

I'd return the phone, mine doesn't have this problem. I know a lot of folks are complaining about the same issue but I believe most of us don't have the problem.
