I may certainly be missing something here!
I cannot end a call by pushing on the red "end call" button.
I have to go to the BB button and select end call. It's not a deal killer but is frustrating.

I can't find anything about it on the web, so must assume it's a mechanical/electrical malfunction on my 8830.

Has anyone ever heard of this problem or is it really a problem?

if you're in browser and you click the end call button, does it quit out?

Forgot to mention too, that I disasembled my 8830, and its a small contact pad that is the actual button so that could be broken

I think I will just live with it. Once you know the workaround, it doesn't take much longer than just pushing the end call button. It's an eBay phone so I can't gripe too much. Other than that one issue, it's a good performer.
