Empower Pro, BBSmart, Native BB Email Viewers

I have just uninstalled the Empower Pro and BBSmart email viewers. In addition to OS 4.5's HTML, I was getting too many conflicts when I opened an email.

When I open up emails now, however, I'm not enjoying the plain white background (with a bit of blue highlight) on the BB's native viewer. Empower and BBSmart had color and texture options.

Does the new HTML email viewer have color-changing options anywhere? I can't seem to locate where this can be done, if at all. I am also running PocketDay, and I'm not sure if PocketDay has any control over what the email looks like. I can't find any viewing options there, either.

The OS 4.5 email is HTML but does not have the customizabily that BBSmart Email and Empower had.

If you want customization found in those third party apps then you will need to wait for them to be OS 4.5 compatible. I am not sure if they are, as I do not use them.

Or turn off the HTML email in the default email client and attempt to use either of the third party apps... should work! I have seen other members doing that as well (if I am remembering correctly)

I'll try that next... sounds like a good idea. Between the two, I like Empower Pro better, but that wasn't showing the body of my hotmail emails after the 4.5 .51 upgrade!! I'll try reinstalling it, and it may work better. Thanks for the tip!
