Default Did Verizon retire the 8830???

The 8830 is no longer on the VZE web site.

Yep, noticed that a couple of days ago. Went from an Out Of Stock stamp next to the picture, to, poof, it's gone.

Great phone for it's time. Been with VZW since 1991, and I was able to stay and get a phone that worked all over the world, very well. Just had trouble in Japan, worked everywhere else.
Now the Tour and Storm are GSM/CDMA combo phones.

Thanks 8830, but looking forward to the 9650!
