    The desktop manager cannot connect to the device. In the device manager, it says it is disconnected.

    I have version 4.2.2.66 on the BB and 4.2.2.12 for the desktop manager.

    I've decided to abandon this. The computer I'm trying to connect to is a machine at work. I'm a consultant, and they do not have enterprise activation. I'm thinking there is some funky USB crap going on.

    I hit blackberry.com and performed all the actions they suggested, uninstall/reinstall desktop manager, usb drivers, update usb settings, etc.

    What's funny is that I can sync fine using "Missing sync" on my mac (pocket mac was a piece of crap and did not work). So, for now, I'm forwarding all my invites at work to my personal email account to get them on my blackberry. What a pain...
