I did this on my last 8830WE but it ended up having a defect and I needed to get a new one. Does anybody know how to change the notification for all SMS text messages? Like I said, I did it before so I know it's possible, I just can't remember how I did it. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
What profile do I edit? There isn't one for SMS messages and if I create one I don't know how to designate it for all messages and not just for one specific contact.
Just kidding I found it. For anyone else wanting to know about this, go to Advanced and click on one of the profiles (not the exceptions) for example Loud, or Quiet hit the menu button and choose edit. Then you can assign ringers to all messages or alerts. Thanks for the help JRSC!
