    Hey there,

Tried to clean the charging contacts on my Berry, and the cleaning fluid got in behind the LCD screen. When it dried, it left a residue that shows up rather well on a light screen background (but not so well on a dark background). I would like to remove the LCD screen to clean the back of it. My warrantee has run out, so I have nothing really to lose - anybody else try this? Note that I have successfuly taken an IPOD apart to change the battery, so I am not co concerned about breaking anything if I take it apart.

I can see few screws inside the battery compartment that I could remove to start. Any tips (or a complete guide to removing LCD) would be helpful. Thanks.

check on youtube for tutorial. I did it on 8130, 8330, 9530 and 9630. Pretty easy, only need the good tools and the how-to.

    Good luck!
