I transfered my songs via bluetooth from my mac but I can't seem to find them on my device. Does anyone know what needs to be done. It said the songs were transfered!

Try a battery pull. With your phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in.

Try going to Media, then hit menu, then Explore... see if you can locate them that way.
And yes, a MicroSD card is HIGHLY recommended.

I have no clue what mr4 files are... Sounds like you are trying to use ringtones that are in an unsupported format.

I have no idea either. I used itunes to create some and garageband for the others. Do you know how to convert files?

Normally I use sophisticated software to get the job done. However I don't even know what I would suggest since I am unfamiliar with the applications you use and the file format you said they are in.
