I have version 4.2.2 and would like to have 4.3. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

4.2.2.176 is the latest Verizon OS. 4.2.2.196 is available from another carrier. 4.3/4.5 is not yet available for the 8830 from any carrier to my knowledge.

Good point. Operamini is considered by many people to be a better browser than the native app. I have not used it and have no opinion on that. You should be aware, though, that OTA downloads are only possible with the native browser.

Yeah, took me a few days to get comfortable with it, but now Opera Mini is definitely my preferred browser! Too bad that there doesn't seem to be a way to make it the default browser when clicking on a link in an email.

Opera Mini has a horrible interface (terrible) but it does a better job of rendering somethings that the BB built in browser chokes on.
