Calendar Issues

Hello:

I tried to delete a few recurring appointments from my calendar. When I view my calendar the appointments still appear. I attempt to try and delete the appointments again and I receive the following message:

Appointment deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed.

Does anyone know how I can delete my appointments and not have them appear? In some cases, the same appointment is listed twice.

Are you a BES user? That error message, and duplicated appointments, typically means the database has gotten corrupted. You will need your IT admin to wipe and reload from the BES backup to clear up the problem.

BES user? I don't think so. This is my personal phone so I don't have an IT administrator.

Are you syncing with Outlook using Desktop Manager, or with something else? When did you first notice the problem? Has anything else changed?

Hello, I see here the same problem Im having on my 8530 BB. I also get

"appointment deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed"

Im going crazy trying to figure how to fix this! Did anyone ever figure out the problem?
Im using BB desktop manager on a Macbook
Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance
