Is Boost service from a Sprint branded 8830?

How do I get Boost service in my bb 8830 from Sprint? Is there anyone out there that can respond to this. Is it feasible to do this and how to do it.

Not sure other than through Boost, but I will tell you it has to be Boost CDMA service, the Sprint phone must be unlocked, and any BIS service such as BBM won't work. You'd be much better off buying a used Boost branded BlackBerry and selling your 8830.

Will it work with a boost kit? Instead of buying a new bb will it not be the same. The sim will be boost. my bb was from Sprint and it works with the MEPD cmd. So do you know who is Howardforum?
