Whenever my Plantronics Voyager 855 headset disconnects from my VZW 8830 WE, the blackberry totally freezes up. No buttons work except for the top power and top mute. I have to turn the phone off and turn it back on again in order to get it to work. Any ideas why this is happening?
What version OS are you running?
Have you previously used a different BT Headset?
Been experimenting with the Telus update?
Tired of all the questions?
When it "disconnects" are you turning the headset off? plugging it into the charger? walking out of range?
What happens when you do any of the above?
Most recent OS, no previous BT headset, no Telus update.
It seems to randomly disconnect sometimes for no reason. Actually, the BT headset dials itself. Today I picked up my phone and I apparently was over twenty minutes into a phone call that I never dialed. I think the headset is dialing itself with the voice feature.
