Default Blackberry 8830 from Bell

I just got a BB 8830 from someone and wanted to know if it will work on the Rogers network..I can see that it has a SIM card slot and an old SIM card is there but I havent attempted to remove it yet..when I start it up the Bell logo comes on..

Any way I can use this on Rogers network?

You can try it, I can't say whether or not it will work.

The gsm bands on the phone are only for european or asian roaming.

My bet would be no. Since the bands are international.

The 8830 only supports GSM frequency bands outside of North America. It cannot be used on Rogers or any other North American GSM carrier's network.
