I recently acquired an 8830 on Verizon. I loaded desktop with the BIS option. When I attempt to set the sync options Outlook is not available. I would like to sync.

I first tried the desktop redirector but got tied of the multiple emails that clogged my inbox.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am new to BB.

From Desktop Manager, click Synchronize / Configuration / Configure Synch... / Setup.

I've got mine working with Outlook 2007 perfectly.

Email will not sync to the BB via DM, just contacts and other PIM stuff. Email account info would have to be setup on the BB via the Email Setup icon which would walk you through the BIS setups for each email account you want to poll. Just want to make sure that's right in your thought process.
