So I know you can't change the color of your LED with a program on the 8830 but I did it with a sharpie. Unfortunately I'm not likeing the opaque color results from the off white trackball. I was reading through the forums and found a way to get the trackball to turn clear by soaking it in a solution of water and vinegar and salt. Unfortunately I just skimmed over it and filed it away for later when I got off work. Now I am unable to find it! If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would love some input and guidance.

I understand the removal and cleaning methods. Unfortunately I read of a solution to soak the trackball itself in to make it appear clear instead of opaque white.

I understand the removal and cleaning of the trackball. I read a way to soak your trackball and make it clear instead of off white. That is what I'm trying to accomplish so that my light is a true color not a pink when my led is red or aqua when my led is blue.
