Hi guys I find this forum very informative and I am happy that I joined. For those who just got the 8830 like myself, do you guys have the following problem- when I go in Blackberry Messenger and highlight a contact (to add), then press menu, the "request" is no where to be found on the list.

I love my handset and I know I can always use text or aim but I hope this isn't a glitch on my new phone, please help.

A couple of questions.

1. Do you have a data package?

2. Also, the contact that you select do they have an email address and or pin number associated with them? If not, you will NOT have that option...
