Yesterday I learned that with "macros" I could get the 8830 to BACKSPACE so that I could remove the space when I used "vv" to change to QUESTION MARK.
But for autotext to work, you apparently need a delimiting SPACE BEFORE/AFTER the string to be replaced.
When typing web addresses, I'm trying to find a way to not need the ALT key to type in a / character. I tried using "gg" but when typing a SPACE into a web address, the 8830 automatically changes SPACE to DOT. So you canNOT delimit replaceable strings with a SPACE in web addresses. Anyone know of another way?
Also another interesting thing I learned - while autotext works in Memopad, you cannot get to the autotext app to edit or create new ones from memopad.
