Hey guys I havn't seen anyone post this problem that happend on my 8830-
While you're logged onto AIM on your 8830, you can close the aim window and do other stuff. When a buddy aims you back and forth, your phone would vibrate in its holdster. When you go back to aim to respond, the cursor will not move. However, when you press enter, the key pad will enter the exactly opposite of what you typed (since the cursor doesn't move, the msg would be invisible until you press enter), AND ALL IN CAPS. For Example
"Hey you hello" would turn to "OLLEH OUY YEH"
Do I have a defective handset guys? I still have time to return, please respond if you have dealt with or seen this problem. Thanks.
On my 8830 when I go into the Browser, it has an option already there to download AOL IM. If you don't have it just go to AOL, it will take you to the mobile version and you can download from there.
