It took forever to find the right program to transfer dvds. I spent a good amount of time this weekend searching for answers. I downloaded :
    1. Pocket DVD Wizard (20 or 25 dollars),
    2. Any DVD Converter
    3. Two other programs that I can't remember and finally......
    4. Media Studio for Blackberry ($34) but it worked so I am happy.

I could not get the dvds to decrypt and transfer. I kept getting errors that said it was non-supported format. (AVI)

From a crackberry posters suggestion I finally decided to try Media Studio from Makayama it is worked perfectly. It uses the 3GPP format.

It is soooo simple to use. NOthing to configure or deciper. Now I can finally get down to watching Season 1 of NCIS.

The best way to convert DVDs to blackberry format can be found on the SlySoft website i was just like you wasting money on software that barely worked but sysoft is the best. Also ANYDVD is just a decrypter it won't do anything except just unlock the DVD for you. You have to use it with another program for it to work properly I use ANYDVD + CloneDVD mobile to convert my Family Guy DVDs to my blackberry and it work perfectly.

    My 8830 can read MPEG 4 format...I don't think i ever tried 3GPP
