when I wear my new 8830 in it's pouch/on my belt I can hardly hear it ring. I've set all the ring settings to LOUD. Is there a way to make it louder yet? Is there a software [free is better] that will increase the volume of the ring? Thanks for you help. Awesome phone.....
After reading those "searches" I'd just go DL a song that is loud to begin with. That's what I have. Not everyone gets that type but for important calls I can't miss, they get a LOUD A@@ ringtone!
Be aware that the Loud profile does not actually have it's ringer set to High for Phone. Edit the profile and change it to High. However, for some of us, even that's not high enough... your milage may vary.
