I just returned a Blackberry 8830 because it would reset itself when jostled slightly. The replacement blackberry 8830 also exhibited the same features. Is there something I can easily tighten or adjust after opening the blackberry??

I've had the same problem but can't always replicate it. It would usually happen when I put the BB in the case and let the magnet close real hard.

Save yourself the hassle and replace it again. It's usually one of two things, loose battery compartment or defective unit. Just get it replaced under warranty again, there's no excuse for poor quality and you certainly don't want to get stuck with a glitchy unit out of warranty.
