I have an 8830. For some reason the last two weeks, my BlackBerry gets into these ruts were it is in has the back and forth arrow (like for data transfer when checking for new emails in the top right corner) on constantly like it is getting data...it ends up running the backlight and killing my battery. Then the other day I see where I have a MySpace and AIM app on my BlackBerry...something that I never downloaded....HELP
Some carriers push MySpace and other apps via service books. I wasn't aware that USCellular did it. There isn't really anything you can do about it; if you delete the apps the carrier will just push them back again. Fortunately what you have on your 8830 is just a launcher. It occupies very little memory and doesn't do anything except annoy you unless you click it. You can hide the icon to prevent that.
