    so..... i used jl_cmdr to wipe the OS, cool. now i got error 507. cool. but, now I can't get the computer to recognize the phone, even resetting and what not i never get USB:unknown to show up. :S help please? i tried apploader jojvm and what not

    First things first... reboot the computer. 9 times out of 10 this will fix the issue. I am not 100% sure why this is so... but is works!

    From experience and helping a number of people, this should get everything straightened up!

    i just changed my usb hub

    simply switching it and rebooting fixed everything

    i wasted hours and i had the same problem as you

    Get rid of the hub between your bb and puter it needs a direct connection to not have any issues.
