UMA on 8820 with orange Uk

hi

i have an 8820 and had uma working fine on an orange pay as you go sim. fine i thought go and get a sim only contract from orange and all will be well as i have no signal at home.

orange gave me a new sim in the shop and installed it, got home and no uma. i got access a bold and uma works fine, used it to call the orange helpline, they have not resolved it and fobbed me off with a mobile repair company

i have the latest software, i think something happened when the new sim was put it. i can connect to wifi, i have email and can surf the net. phone works fine when i have a normal mobile signal. it is an orange branded mobile.

can anyone help?
