Text Messaging Help Needed!

I have a BB 8800 and a 9000 bold that were used with a BB Enterprise server through my company. I no longer use them through my company and want to reinstall it's ability to Send SMS and BB messenger Texts. Tried JL-CMDR and it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with if there is an exact process fpor doing this, but my guess would be to reload the OS with whatever the latest OS that is available from your carrier.

Register the devices with BIS and those icons should be pushed to your device. Now if this is not the case, just reload the latest firmware by going to blackberry.com and downloading the appropriate OS.
