    Default at&t 8820 on Sprint?

So i recently purchased a plan through Sprint and for free got a BB 8530 curve. Then tonight my dad shows up at my place with a new BB tour his work gave him through Verizon and gives me his old 8820 through At&t. Now obviously this phone is nicer then my curve so does anyone know if I can use it on Sprints network? Like i said as well i just got the plan so im locked into a 2 yr agreement and so far im satisfied. At&t also wanted a deposit off of me so canceling my current plan and swtiching to them with this phone probably isnt going to happen. So if i cannot use this phone on Sprint I will sell it. What are they typically going for?

Nope, doesn't work. AT&T is GSM and Sprint is CDMA, therefore they are not compatible. Search around for how much they are going for.

You can sell it on ebay for around 100. And it won't work on Sprint. Different network technologies, sorry mate.
