I hope someone can help with this: I have a 8800 that I'd like to setup with my private e-mail account: but in the e-mail configuration menu I only have the option of setting up the company's e-mail account via the BB Enterprise Server...

Is your device on a BES? If so it is possible that the BIS portion has been blocked.

Yes, it was on a BES - but now I have a Bold on the BES and the 8800 is unused. Can I reset it and unlock the BIS ?

I was wondering the exact same thing! Is there a way for me to unlock the phone and have my personal email accounts connect with my 8800?
