seperate SMS/E-mail??

I figured out how to separate SMS from e-mails through the general options, but is there a way to have either A) my texts always show up first instead of e-mails or B) have a separate icon for my SMS messages??? Thanks.

In message options, there should be something for mailbox options, where the choices will be theme determined, combined or separate. Choose separate and a sms/mms icon will pop up somewhere on your screen.
