Please Help Troubleshoot

Hey everyone,
I need some advice,

I recently dropped my blackberry, it was pretty bad.

Now the screen just stays black. The phone still rings when people call, but i cannot answer it, and the screen doesnt light up.

My first thought was that the screen was broken, so i bought and installed a new screen..... It still doesnt light up.

Any ideas about what else can be causing the problem?
