Default Password locked 8820

I have a 8820 that is not activated from ATT that my father gave me. It needs a password to log onto it and my father forgot it. Is there anyway I can unlock it? Thanks in advance

If the wrong password is entered 10 times, the phone will be reset to factory settings, and all user data will be removed.

You cannot use the 8820 on Sprint however. The 8820 is a GSM only device. It will not work on a CDMA carrier's network.

If you enter the wrong password 10 times it will reset to factory settings and wipe out all user data, so you will be good to go.

Remember to ask AT&T for the Network Unlock Code. You can then sell the code after selling the phone, ahaha!

Seriously though, its very hard for a 2nd user to get that code. It is a lot easier for the original customer.

I did that same thing; bought an 8820 off eBay...didn't realize it came from a corporate BES user; had to wipe the phone and install 187 on it...password protected; IT policy; some weird kind of network that couldn't connect...lol...

Works great now...free Wi-Fi is what I use it for...
