Newbie Question

I am thinking about getting an 8800 and was wondering if it has blackberry messenger as standard, if not is there any way it can be added, just want to check before I travel to check out the handset and find out I have wasted mine and the sellers time if it's not available.

The Blackberry 8800 comes with Blackberry Messenger. I'm not sure what you mean by "as a standard" though. It should be part of the default OS install. If not it should be available for download through Blackberry App World. My first BB was the 8800 and I recently upgraded to the BB 8820 because it has WiFi capability.

and you can download the new blackberry messenger 5 because the standard version is not very good, updated mine yesterday.
