Light for notivacations? for BB 8830

I can not find how to turn on or off the light for when a message has been sent or gotten can u please help thanks and when in holster on viabrate all day will this wreck the unit the only time I want to ring is when out of holster? or beep. Also looking for a drop in charger for desk top with light indicator does anyone know where I can get one Canada stores dont sell them.

You can do this through Profile. You can edit all the profiles for how you want to be notified. Whether by light, vibrate or tone or all three.
