Thanks. I havent used this phone for years and it's been plugged into the wall for about half an hour now...But I cant turn it on. Shouldnt I be able to turn the phone on if it's plugged in even if the battery is dead or drained?

When I revived my old 8820 it wouldn't turn on. I re-plugged the cord like 500 times till it did.

How come it gives me the option to download 2 different operating system versions that apply to me?

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.294 (Multilanguage)

Package Version: 4.5.0.294
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.174
Software Platform: 2.7.0.105
File name: 8800M_PBr4.5.0_rel294_PL2.7.0.105_A4.5.0.174_Roger s_Wireless_Inc.exe
File size: 90.31MB

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.108 (Multilanguage)

Package Version: 4.5.0.108
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.81
Software Platform: 2.7.0.78
File name: 8800M_PBr4.5.0_rel108_PL2.7.0.78_A4.5.0.81_Rogers. exe
File size: 75.17MB

And also I have another question. My phone is branded Rogers but I'm going to be using a prepaid plan through 711. So I'd like to know if it's possible to use BBoS 4.6 or higher on my 8800? and if it's possible how do I download it?

thank you for any help!

You can load either of those versions.

You cannot load 4.6 as it does not exist for that device.

So I wont be able to use a 32gb sdcard according to this site then?

KB05461-MicroSD card sizes supported by the BlackBerry device software

I think I will be able to use a 16gb but Im not sure...Which is the latest version of my operating system, is it this one.. BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.294 (Multilanguage)?

Will I be able to use a 16gb sdcard with that?

Is there a way I can use a 32gb card?

The largest card you can use with that device is 16GB. There's no way for you to use a 32GB card with that device.

If using a 32GB card is important to you, then you need to get a different device.

And yes, the v4.5.0.294 is the latest version of the ones you listed. It will support a 16GB card.
