Red face Got an 8820, and...

I love it! I love how it doesn't have a camera, I never really used mine before anyway. LOL.

Does anybody else have the 8820 on AT&T? If so, have you claimed insurance on it? I know it's an older model (2007) and was just wondering if they try giving you a newer model if you have to claim the insurance.

If they dont have that device on hand thru asurion which is the insurance company you will get a new model blackberry or they will give you other options. You should refer your (ATT) questions here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f116/we...s-forum-88983/

Pondering the idea of seeing what models they would offer me, lol. I like this one tho, I heard it's a $125 hit now for ins claims on BB's

i have a 8800 and I absolutely love it compared to the Curve 8310. But, beware and be cautious about the USB port. the 88xx series tend to wear out and expand. My usb port broke last night, snapped it. =[
