General error code "E:6" on an 8800?

I have a Blackberry 8800. When I try to copy MP3 files to my 8G micro sd card using the media manager I receive the following error message:

"BlackBerry device returned the following error. General error [E:6]"

I have 4.2.1.74 OS, and was encoding audio cd`s into MP3`s using Roxio storing them on an external HD, then transferring them to my 8800 using BB desktop manager while my 8800 is plugged in with micro sd inside.

I have been able to transfer 3.4G of MP3`s onto the card this way, but now the E:6 message comes up.

When I put the micro card into the adapter and then insert it into my pc, my `puter doesn`t acknowledge it, but it will read another photo card inserted into the same slot. So I can`t transfer the files that way.
