Email / SMS issue

I recently ported all of my info from one 8820 to another (water issue), and almost everything is up and running like it should be. I can place calls, make texts, etc.

I am also notified that I have received a new text or email, however when I click the email or text icon to view it, no new messages are displayed. Yet at the top there are still the icons showing I have 2 unread emails and 4 unread texts.

Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks in advance.

on the new device do you have your messages seperated into two seperate folders. have you "show all." is the phone date and time correct? was it ever off for a bit and you may have recieved new messages and their now hidding at the bottum of you message inbox.

Yep, the date was incorrect. That fixed it, thanks.
