Did/does the 8800 come in 2 different colors?

I think I've seen dark blue ones and black ones..

Is there a difference?

I've got the dark blue 8800. I don't think there's a difference in the actual phone, the color just depends on the carrier. My phone is AT&T, and other carriers have the black 8800.

The 8800 is dark blue on at&t and the 8820 (with Wifi) is black.
