Default Danish guy bought a blackberry 8800 from the states.

Hello I´m a Danish guy

You see, when I visited New York some months ago I bought a 8800 in a electronic store without any Subscriptions.
Now I´m back in Denmark with the 8800 and have put in my danish SIMcard with my provider (subscription)
But how do I access the Internet from the 8800 with my Danish provider. I have my provider´s APN, IP/gateway information, but the only thing I can enter on my 8800 is the APN, and does not work

Can someon help me. shouldn´t the 8800 be able to go on the net in denmark?

European GSM frequencies are different from US GSM frequencies. If you bought an 8830, you would be able to use it, but I don't think you will be able to use an 8800. the 8830 is a World Phone. The 8800 is not.

Uh, Iḿ so sad to hear that
But if Iḿ not mistaken 8800 can also use eu gsm frequencies, or else I would not be able to call and text from it right? And I can do that

I stand corrected. The 8800 has European GSM frequencies. I don't know why you are having difficulty connecting to the internet. I suggest you contact your local carrier.
