circuitry problem

Unfortunately, my 8820 has run into a problem. Whenever I press in my trackball imy device does not recognize a trackball click but instead a pushing of u and o in that order. The same thing has happened to the back button to the right of the trackball(now clicks h and l), the sym button(presses b then $), and the 0 button which presses y and I instead. This is a slight problem as you may imagine. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this or if you can map useless keys like $ to other more needed keys that got messed up. Thanks in advance
