Question 8800 Hold Button?

Is there a hold button on the 8800 to keep it from turning on when you put it in your pocket? The say a command button, the keypad, the on off switch on top etc all activate my blackberry when you touch them.

So how do I keep that from happening? I cant find a hold button anywhere.

thank you for any help!!

There are two buttons on the top of the unit. One is for Power, and the other on the right is Mute/Lock. Press the button on the right and it should lock down the keys until you press it again. The call button might still work, but the others should not.

You can also lock the device with a two key combination for security, and unlock by pressing those two keys, or using a secret combo.

By the way, if you want to keep it in your pocket, and can't recommend more highly a Blackberry leather pocket case. When I bought mine, I found all that was available was brown, but it turned out to be a nice color, and very good quality. It'll keep lint out of the trackball and keypad. Crackberry probably has them in stock.
