I have 8700g from work..thinking of getting 8703e on verizon as personal phone...love the feel over the newer models..but in your experience can you carry it in pocket of pants?....I actually think so since its shorter in length than 8800..just thicker...but afraid to get it if I will regret size.
I used one for a day and thought it was a bit to big for comfortable use in my hand. Its bigger than the Curve becos it wud not fit into the sleeve I had for the Curve.
But I felt it was more solid and sturdy than the Curve.

What do I love about my 8703e? The keyboard, look and feel. It may not take pictures or play music but that I have a very good digital camera to take my pictures and have a 30gig iPod for my music and best of all - a wonderful soul mate.
Catt - you know what, I think I have to agree. They are both amazing devices and I love my 8703, however, I just think the curve is - pardon my french - SILLY!!! lol, just my opinions. Overall, Catt, you are right.
The best thing about the 8700? The day I replaced the brick with my 8800 that looks as if it was designed this century.
Regular eaters of donuts, coke, burgers n' fries will probably not like trying to squeeze their chubby fingers onto the smaller, and more closely placed keys of the 8800 though

Are you implying that I'm fat Berryman? Haha. I like the keyboard on my 8703e much better than the older models, and it rocks compared to the cramped Suretype bbs.

This is my first Smart Phone so I can't compare it to another.
But when I was shopping I knew the keyboard and screen size was right for me.
It wouldn't even bother me if it were a little larger dimension wise.
My phone that is!
