I too am having similar issues. I just upgraded from a samsung M520 with sprint to my first blackberry. I am using the same bluetooth (plantronics) that I used on my old samsung but now I can't hear the names of people calling me.
The only thing I hear is a "beep" and that's even when I have my phone on loud. The ringer applied to the person doesn't play and there's no option to hear the person's name anywhere in the settings.
