    Hello!

I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I have Verizon, and I know that on their newer smart phones you can only send long texts (more than 160 chars) to other Verizon smartphone users, and then they will be split up as necessary when they are received. Is it possible to do this with the Blackberry as well, or is it always strictly limited to 160 chars unless sending an email. Is it also like this on newer models?

    yes, the limit is 160.

you can send the message as an MMS without the picture. i tihnk the limit then is 1000 characters.

    or email or PIN.

Thanks for the reply. Apparently this phone is too old for MMS. I dont plan on having it much longer (yay Storm), but I just figured I would ask.
